Text2Punch IOS & Android Tools are incredibly easy to use.

Text2Punch was built to address the time & attendance collection requirements of mobile or remote workers. Organizations that engage these types of employees and contractors often use inefficient methods to record attendance. These methods create administrative overhead and facilitate payroll errors. Users can download the Text2Punch app from the Apple or Google store, enroll themselves or have the office administrator manage the enrollment using an email address as login ID tool.  Then the user simply logs into the app of the mobile phone or tablet and begin.  The app will capture Start Shift, Stop Shift, Meal Out, and Meal Return easily with a screen touch.  These actions will be automatically stored in the cloud and routed to payroll timekeeping or billing/invoicing system smoothly and securely. 

 

 

Users can enter and track other optional valuable items along the way by selecting Other Options.  It is simple to track mileage, travel expenses and piece counts.  Additionally Sick Time can be logged for Hours off and a note to accompany.  Finally Department and Project assignments can be selected for activity.  All options selected are date, time, and Geo tagged.

  • Mileage   –  Keep track of # of miles and a note (purpose, Odometer Readings, Destination
  • Travel Expense  –  Log tolls, fuel costs, parts costs, meals and lodging
  • Piece Counts – Follow items delivered, stops in canvasing, calls made, etc along with notes.
  • Sick Time – Log of sick time along with notes for administrative followup
  • Change Department – Transfer tracking of time to a department code
  • Change Project – Transfer tracking of time to a project/service code

The customer can administer their entire program through the secure client portal. They can enroll or delete users, run reports, manage worker activity, and  process time-off requests. The client portal can be accessed from any internet connected device.

Once your employees and users are entered through the secure portal, Text2Punch will automatically email or text them usernames & passwords along with a command menu.  The worker’s cell number is immediately activated on our service. They simply use the assigned text number and punch in and out.
